BEING PLASTIC
"Being Plastic" doesn't just lecture the audience on pollution; it makes them feel the strange, invasive presence of plastic in our waters and in all living things and more than human. By screening the film at Penzance’s Jubilee Pool, artist Andy Hughes forced the audience to confront the invasive presence of plastic in our waters, reminding us that while the tide is rising, so is the community’s resolve to protect the coastaline, ocean and wider ecosphere.
